I have learned

I have learned that a lady does not have to be Apostolic Pentecostal to dress modestly. I know of women of other beliefs that dress modestly as well. 

Yes I am Apostolic and no I am not always as modest as I should be. Yes I love my blue jeans. Being in a wheel chair it is hard to keep the long dress out of the wheels of the chair.  I will not wear a short dress so I wear jeans.

I hope everyone is enjoying their Saturday. I am getting ready for Christmas. I have all my gifts bought nd my cards sent out. I bought the cutest Teddy Bear with $ I earned playing Bingo. It is Patriotic (red while and blue) bear. It is adorable.

My best friend came over and visited me. We exchanged gifts. It was great to see her. Of course I opened the gifts. I got a blow dryer , a cat candy dish , candy and a kitty cat change purse. I gave her some body wash and lotion.

What Christmas is really about

One of my favorite Bible verses about Christmas

Isaiah 9:6-7 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David's throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the LORD Almighty will accomplish this.

Christmas dinner

Tonight is the Christmas dinner here at Willow Creek (The ALF where I live) I thought I had a guest coming but I found out  I do not have a guest. I will be coming to the dinner alone. That is okay. All my family live in Michigan and my best friend is coming next week. She lives about an hour away. Now I don't have to keep wondering who it is.
